8/13/01 Dear Reader, We all want Missouri landowners and managers to be good land stewards. This is particularly important since more than 90 percent of Missouri is privately owned or managed. We are doing our part by providing technical and/or financial assistance to encourage practices that conserve our precious agricultural and natural resources. The undersigned Partners have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to have the University of Missouri Outreach and Extension/Lincoln University, through the Missouri Watershed Information Network (MoWIN), produce this GUIDE and maintain an electronic version that will be updated as necessary. This GUIDE is an additional tool to help spread the word about the many sources for conservation assistance. Together, we can help ensure that Missouri landowners and managers have the best possible access to the programs that can aid natural resource stewardship.
